Rangers Shoot Down Eagles

By Stanford Mul - Madang Corresponent

The Port Moresby Masta Mark Rangers displayed a near flawless display of football to dismantle cellar dwellers Bingtagor Mt Hagen Eagles 22-12 in Madang. The Rangers virtually made up of former and current kumuls showed silky ball skills to destroy the Eagles. The Rangers coordinated attack and defense left Bingtagor Mt Hagen Eagles clueless. The Eagles didn’t help their cause by making too many forced errors. It was a tight contest until the 65th minute when the Rangers ran away with the game scoring two tries in a space of 10 minutes.

Kelly Aiyok the owner of the Port Moresby Masta Mark Rangers was on hand to watch his boys put in a polished performance. Man of the match and outside centre for Masta Mark Rangers Ham Tee entertained the crowd with his blistering pace and side step to score the first try and setting up the last try by stepping and fending off 5 defenders.
